OBJECTIVE
This International Conference provides a forum for presentation and discussion of the state of current research in Man-Machine Systems Engineering. It plays an important role in providing a platform for young researchers for mutual exchange of knowledge towards improving the academic, scientific and research programs. Papers relating to the general title of Man-Machine Systems are solicited especially including those in the areas of human system reliability, mechatronics, bio-mechatronics and man machine interactions. Other related themes include, but not limited to:
artificial intelligence (AI) methods and applications
Autonomous Agents, Man Machine Interfacing, Digital and Analog Control, Bio-sensors and Control, Data Storage and Retrieval, Tele-operation, Expert Systems, Image Processing, Gaze and Emotion Detection, Pattern Recognition.
man machine interface and automation
Intelligent Process Systems, Information Management, Communication Systems, Vision Servo Drives, Mechatronics and Bio-Mechatronics, PLC, Micro controllers and Microsystems, Soft Computing and Control Methods, Environmental Aspects, Instrumentation, Quality and Reliability, System Integration.
bio medical engineering
Biomedical Image Processing, Cell Simulation and Modeling, Bio-signal Measurements, Bio-sensors, Hospital Automation, Human Machine interface, Rehabilitation for Disabled, Affective Computer Feedback, Brain-computer techniques, Biomechanics.
SUBMISSION OF PAPERS
The working language of the conference is English. Prospective authors are invited to submit their original unpublished work through track chair not later than July 7, 2011. The full paper should be in pdf format and not exceeding six pages, typed on one side of A4 size paper in Times New Roman format of 10 point size as per IEEE double column format. Further details about the paper format can be obtained from the conference home page http://icomms.unimap.edu.my.
Double blind review will be followed in the review process. Please do not provide any identifiable information about the authors in the paper during the submission of the paper to the track chair. The authors are requested to follow the following steps while sending their paper:
- Sign-up with http://trackchair.com and get the track chair login-id and password.
- Submit the full paper in pdf format through track chair without specifying any information about the authors’ name and affiliations and get the track chair reference number.
- Submit one page containing the title of the paper, authors’ names and affiliations, email of the corresponding authors, phone and FAX numbers and the track chair reference number to icomms@unimap.edu.my or icomms.unimap@gmail.com.
